Purpose Statement:
The After 3 Club will provide quality afterschool care, homework assistance, and enrichment activities in a safe environment. The overall aim of After 3 Club is to provide a pleasant, happy, and enriching environment for children who will benefit from afterschool care. We are here for the children and to provide for their best interest and needs.
Enrollment:
St. Agnes students from Pre-K through fifth grade qualify for the After 3 Club. Students not in St. Agnes Pre-K – 5th grade need approval of the principal and After 3 Club director in order to attend. We cannot serve 2 and 3 year olds.
Hours:
The program’s hours of operation will be 3:15-5:45PM Monday through Friday. The After 3 Club will follow the schedule of the St. Agnes School and will not be in operation on those days when school is closed due to holidays or inclement weather. In the case of early release due to inclement weather, you will need to pick your child up early. In the event of an early out for HOLIDAYS After 3 Club will be open until 3:15.
Organization:
The After 3 Club will be staffed by a director and one or more assistants. The After 3 Club serves St. Agnes Catholic School students.
Fees:
Charges will include total hours of care and a daily snack for your child. The pay schedule is based on the time frame your child is picked up and is as follows:
3:15-3:45 $1.50
3:46-4:15 $3.00
4:16-4:45 $4.50
4:46-5:15 $6.00
5:16-5:45 $7.50
*A $1.00 late fee will be charged for every minute your child is present after 5:45.*
Health and Safety:
Your child should not attend if he/she is ill. If he/she becomes ill while in our care, we will contact you or follow alternate directions given on your information/emergency form.
Inside and Outside Rules:
All rules as listed in the St. Agnes School handbook also apply to After 3 Club.
Management Plan
Different forms of child management will be implemented depending on the age of the child and the situation. Positive reinforcement will be used to encourage children to behave appropriately. Time-out and contract discipline will also be used as necessary.
Pick Up:
Your child must be picked up at the After 3 room by you or another authorized person. We will not release your child to walk home on his or her own. If an emergency prevents an authorized person from picking up your child, you must inform us in writing or by phone who your child is to be released to. That person will need to show identification upon release. All children must be picked up by 5:45. You will be charged based on when an authorized person leaves with your child.
